Qantas Reconfigures its A380's

Qantas Airways has started a re-configuration of its Airbus A380's. This is taking place at the Lufthansa Technik Philippines. This is the first time that A380's have been re-configured. Some will now take place at Frankfurt. The aircraft position from London Heathrow after an aircraft has arrived back from maintenance to operate the return leg of the flight that has been operated by the aircraft that has positioned to Frankfurt for its maintenance. While undergoing this re-configuration they have been undergoing wing checks and repairs. This is due to the fact of the cracks being found in the wings and Qantas want to make sure that their aircraft operate to the full standard. Qantas will be putting 11 more of its A380's through this process.
