A380 at Heathrow

British Airways have finished the trials of the A380. This will help British Airways do all the necessary maintenance on their A380's at London Heathrow. British Airways are scheduled to take delivery of their first A380 next year.  

Malaysia A380 first flight

Malaysia Airlines have now announced that the first A380 flight will be from Kuala-Lumpar to Heathrow on the 1st July 2012. A day Ahead of originality planned. It is not sure what flight it will be on yet but will be announced nearer the time.

First Virgin Atlantic A330 Flight From Heathrow

On the 29th of January 2012 Virgin Atlantic operated the first commercial A330 service from Heathrow! G-VKSS arrived from Gatwick and was prepared for its flight to Nairobi. It arrived back at Heathrow the next day. From here it went back to Gatwick and then carried on it's usual services to Orlando! The A330 hasn't been back to Heathrow to operate another Commercial service since!
Virgin Atlantic now operate the A330 on a Daily flight to JFK on the VS3 route.
