Virgin Atlantic Update June 2012

Virgin Atlantic are adding a few more routes this year. However they are stopping a route too.

Virgin Atlantic have just introduced their 34th Route. This is  London Heathrow to Vancouver. This route is allocated A340-300's and is operated 4 times a week. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays departing London Heathrow at 13:00 and Arriving at Vancouver at 15:10 local time. It departs Vancouver at 19:20 and Arrives back at London Heathrow at 13:15 local time.

Virgin Atlantic will be re introducing their Mumbai route from the 29th October 2012. This will be allocated an A330-300 and will be timed so people can get connecting Virgin Atlantic Flights to America.

Virgin Atlantic are starting a fourth rotation to JFK from Heathrow per day from 28th October 2012. This is because of the growing number of people wanting to fly to JFK from Heathrow and Virgin Atlantic are confident that the fourth flight will be popular along with the other flights to JFK. This will operate by the flight Number VS25 and will be operated by an A330-300. However the VS003 route will change to an A340-300 operation.

Virgin Atlantic are starting a second weekly rotation to Montego Bay from Gatwick from the 3rd November 2012.

Virgin Atlantic are withdrawing their service to Nairobi from 24th September 2012. This is because of the Economic Conditions and passenger numbers are beginning to drop.
